Five young mountaineers, a wolfdog and a shared dream: to travel from Yosemite to the Friulian Dolomites, following in the footsteps of John Muir, the great American explorer and writer who was able to see in unspoilt nature the ideal place to seek happiness. The STEPS project was born in this way, almost as a joke. But it immediately became a challenge to look at the mountains with different eyes and to experience them with respect and a spirit of adventure.
